Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA):
High School FCA and Junior High FCA meet every Thursday during
lunch in the gym. There is an open invitation to come and meet with us. However, we ask that if you are not a current employee of the school or a current student, please check in at the main office.
Purpose of FCA: To glorify God in all we do; our speech, actions, thoughts, academics, athletics, and performances. 1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God.
Vision of FCA: To be continually transformed into what God would have us to be, which is to be more like Jesus Christ. Romans 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you brethren by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
To see our classmates, teachers and family understand how they stand before God. And see them understand their need for Jesus Christ to bare the wrath that God has against them due to their sin. John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. (See also Romans 1:18, Romans 5:9, Ephesians 5:6)
